“Cleaning the streets of Eldorado Park” campaign, a huge success

The law enforcement members posted within the Greater Eldorado Park issued a hefty amount of one hundred and forty-five (145) Aarto infringement tickets to the drivers of vehicles.

ELDORADO PARK- Gauteng Traffic and SAPS Eldorado Park efforts to curb crime have proved to be fruitful today Wednesday 24 February 2021.

The law enforcement members posted within the Greater Eldorado Park issued a hefty amount of one hundred and forty-five (145) Aarto infringement tickets to the drivers of vehicles.

A total of fifty-one (51) vehicles were discontinued following three hundred and six(306) vehicles searched.

Among the many successes, a 41-year-old male was arrested for drunk and driving, as well as a 40-year-old male who was arrested for reckless and negligent driving. Both males were detained at Eldorado Park SAPS and will appear in the respective court during the week.

The success of today’s operation has paved the way and set the standard for the future integrated interventions of the SAPS and various law enforcement agencies, on their stance towards a zero-tolerance to crime. It should also serve as a deterrent to those who intend on being on the wrong side of the law.
