This decisions follows rape accusations leveled against the DJ duo by a women who tweeted that the DJ duo allegedly drugged and raped her in 2011.

Well, known media personalities Thato ‘DJ Fresh’ Sikwane and Themba ‘Euphonik’ Nkosi have been released by Primedia from their contracts with immediate effect, the media company confirmed in a statement on Wednesday night, 10 February.

This decision follows rape accusations leveled against the DJ duo by a woman who tweeted that the DJ duo allegedly drugged and raped her in 2011.

“This decision does not reflect a view on the veracity of any allegations against either Euphonik or Fresh. Rather, it prioritises Primedia Broadcasting’s business imperatives. We believe that this decision is in the best interest of our company and our various stakeholders,” Crwys-Williams said.

Following the accusations on social media, Gauteng police confirmed that a case of rape at Sunnyside police station was opened on January, 13 against the DJ duo.

Last year Ntsiki Mazwai also leveled allegations of rape against DJ Fresh but was forced to remove all social media posts relating to the allegation, following an injunction pursued by DJ Fresh which concluded in its Judgement, that Mazwayi Mazwai didn’t have enough evidence to back her claims
