The 21-year-old Face of Devotion Mzansi Ambassador for 2020, Kelebogile Lokweng from Molapo isn’t just a pretty face, she’s always putting her brain to use as a third-year Law student.
The young student at the University of South Africa (Unisa) felt compelled to study Law when she started noticing the social inequalities in the country, as SA is known to be the most imbalanced country in the world.
In 2018, Lokweng decided to give her modeling passion a try at the Ms. Soweto Secondary Pageant, and even though she didn’t win any tangible prize, according to her, she won experience.
With the experience she’d gained, she continued following her passion by entering another pageant in the same year. She won the Ms. Mofolo crown and some other titles before entering Face of Devotion Mzansi.

At Face of Devotion, Lokweng looked forward to flashing her beauty and dashing smile, however, she said, “I got to learn a lot about being a brand and an entrepreneur.”
The founder of Face of Devotion Mzansi, Oscar Mabuza has had a big impact on the youth, imparting on them entrepreneurial and communication skills, above teaching them about modeling. Lokweng said, “Face of Devotion has helped open up my mind about my surroundings and taught me important life skills, keeping me positively busy.”
Lokweng now also aspires to run her Law firm, helping victims who can’t afford a lawyer.
Mabuza said, “We have a bigger vision for this year with plus 100 models per province wishing to participate. We aim to interact and nurture as many models as possible from different provinces, changing lives all over the country.”
