Seriously Daniel colours outside the lines
From winning Original Song of the Year Award 2017 in SA, now performing in China.
Daniel Issel better known as Seriously Daniel is an independent South African artist currently living in Nanjing, China.
The singer, songwriter, the rapper is a versatile performer incorporating different genres, topics, and styles in his music.
Seriously Daniel graduated from AFDA with a Bachelor of Art (BA) degree in live performance in March of 2018. The following year, the artist found himself in China performing in the Jiangsu Grand Theatre, he also competed and took second place in Nanjings Got Talent. Back when he was still attending at AFDA, he received the Critics Award for Original Song of the Year Award 2017.
This year has been a tough year for many including artists, however, Seriously Daniel did not let the pandemic stop him from producing and releasing a new Pop Rap album called ‘Colouring outside the lines’ which is now available on all major platforms.

The album which was released in April consists of thirteen songs:

According to the artist, the message of the album is simple and that is to ‘Be different, do differently. Colour outside the lines.’ Influenced by Hip Hop pioneers such as Biggie Smalls as well as The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, this artist method of delivering his music creates a good vibes atmosphere using catchy and meaningful hooks and melodies.
