Teenaged pedestrian knocked down and died at the scene
A teenaged boy, thought to be around 15 years of age, has been knocked down by a light motor vehicle.
A teenaged boy, thought to be around 15 years of age, has been knocked down by a light motor vehicle and killed while allegedly crossing the N12, Eldorado Park, this afternoon.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 14:43 to find the body of the boy lying in the center median of the freeway and the damaged vehicle stopped on the side of the road.
The boy unfortunately showed no signs of life and was declared dead on arrival.
The driver of the vehicle was shaken, but otherwise unharmed.
The scene was handed over to the South African Police Services for investigation.
