Man(41) arrested for possession of unlicensed firearm
This came after the suspect attempted to run away from Police officials, whilst being interviewed at the crime scene.
Members of the Eldorado Park SAPS attended a scene of the murder at TIB Hlapisi Auto Centre, located on the corner of Golden Highway and East Road in Devland.
The members found the body of a dark in complexion, unknown male, who is estimated to be in his mid-twenties with multiple wounds on his body, upon arrival at the scene.
The swift reaction and thorough investigation of the crime scene led Police officials present at the scene, to arrest a security guard for possession of an unlicensed firearm. This came after the suspect attempted to run away from Police officials, whilst being interviewed at the crime scene.

The swift reaction of one of the members resulted in the 41-year-old male, a resident of Lapland/Dumping Site in Kliptown, to be apprehended before he managed to escape with the unlicensed firearm.
The suspect was detained for possession of an unlicensed firearm and pending further investigation findings will reveal whether or not the firearm could be linked to the murder.
