Two men arrested in Meadowlands for alleged robbery
Investigation still underway.
Two African men were arrested for robbery in Meadowlands.
According to a media statement released by the Meadowlands police spokesperson Octavia Thebe, it is alleged that the two suspects knocked at the victim’s house and came in before they were told to come in.
It further states that one of them struggled with the victim while the other one made his way to the bedroom where they took R9000 and a Mobicel cellphone.
“They were later arrested and detained in Meadowlands Police station and investigation is still underway,” concluded Thebe.
