Mothusi Thibedi was gunned down while doing his rounds as a community servant.

On Thursday 22 October 2020, 45-year-old slain ActionSA volunteer, Mothusi Thibedi will be laid to rest at Westpark Cemetery. The funeral ceremony will be held at his home in Moroka North, Soweto.

The reasons surrounding the murder are still unknown at this stage, but all indications point to this being a hit. Whether or not Thibedi’s killing was politically motivated, is yet to be determined.

ActionSA is working with the SAPS to investigate the murder case and bring Thibedi’s killer to face justice.

We offer our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues. May his soul rest in peace.
