Pre-trial hearing of Tshego’s suspected murderer postponed

The matter was then postponed to 19 November, and Malephane remained in custody.

Muzikayise Malephane, the man accused of the brutal murder of Tshegofatso Pule, made another brief appearance in the South Gauteng High Court on Tuesday, 20 October where his pre-trial hearing was postponed to next month.

The accused’s lawyer, advocate Johlene Muir requested the postponement of the matter as she received outstanding documents from the State on the morning of the court case.

The matter was then postponed to 19 November, and Malephane remained in custody.

Earlier this year eight-months pregnant Tshego’s body, with stab wounds, was found hanging from a tree in Durban Deep, Roodepoort after she had been reported missing a few days earlier.

This is a developing story.
