Man(23) arrested for being in possesion of Nyaope in Protea Glen, Extension 11
The men were spotted by the police at the Shell Garage in Extension 11.
The police arrested a 23-year-old man for being in possession of drugs in Protea Glen Extension 11.
While the police were patrolling around the area they spotted a group of men next to the Shell garage, when the police approached the men, the men ran away on foot in different directions.
The Communications Officer for Protea Glen SAPS, Sergeant Vincent Mashiteng said, “The police gave chase and apprehended one of the men when they frisked and searched the suspect, they found him in possession of a small plastic bag containing drugs known as “Nyaope”.”
The suspect was arrested on the spot and he will appear soon in the Protea Magistrates’ court.
