The Eldorado Park SAPS was called to attend a scene of a shooting incident that occurred along Kremetart Street, in Extension 3, Eldorado Park. According to the communications officer, Constable Roxanne Gibb, when the members of SAPS arrived at the scene, they engaged with the witness who informed them that both the witness and victim were seated in their vehicle when suddenly another vehicle bumped into them from behind.
“The driver of the vehicle that had bumped into them then went in front of their vehicle and started shooting at them whilst they were seated in their vehicle,” said Gibb.
The victim who is identified as a 24-year-old male then got out of the vehicle. The communications officer added: “After shooting, the suspect drove off, and the witness followed but did not manage to stop the unknown male who had been driving the vehicle.

“When the witness went back to the scene, the victim was found lying in a pool of blood and was taken to the Fire Station where he was declared deceased.”
“The suspect is currently unknown to the witness at this stage including the motive of the murder. A case of murder is currently under investigation and anyone with information that can assist regarding the identity of the suspect should contact Eldorado Park SAPS on 011 946 0300.”
