After Colours comes Grace for Adriaan Jacobs
“Grace is more personal to me” - Adriaan Jacobs.
Adriaan Jacobs released his debut album titled ‘Colours’ in April and just five months after that he releases another project called ‘Grace’.
According to Jacobs, ‘Grace’ is a five-track project which was written within 5 days and recorded in 5 hours.
The artist explained that the project was inspired by the Grace of God in his life. “Grace is more personal to me, as I speak about things I’ve been through and currently facing as a young man. As you listen to the tracks, you’d hear why I’ve done this specific project.

“I experienced God’s Grace while recording this project. I wasn’t planning to release another project for a couple of months. God laid it on my heart to write Grace, and when I was done writing I remember asking God ‘What now Lord?’ Grace wasn’t in my budget at all especially during this time, but God blessed me with studio time,” said Jacobs.
Grace is a “Trap-ish” style project which according to Jacobs is something totally different from what he would normally compile.
“As an artist, I’m always looking for ways to expand my horizons, trying new sounds and ways to bring hope across to the listeners. The ultimate vision of Grace is to allow the listener to reflect on their own lives and think about where they could’ve been if it wasn’t for the Grace and mercy of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,” added Jacobs.
Grace has five songs which are Nightmares, Witness, Grateful, Pressure and Grace all produced and mixed by Hurricane Ceasar.
In closing, Jacobs said, “I would like to thank the Fatherhood Foundation of South Africa and Hurricane Ceasar for making this project happen. Acts 20:24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me; the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” Grace is available for listen and download digitally on https://piff.me/830ef72
