Mask on Charity Drive presents the Lady in Pink
The Lady in Pink team’s aim is to collect a thousand sanitary packs.
Lady in Pink is the name of a ‘Mask on Charity Drive’ and the colour pink symbolizes young girls and women. The event which will be taking place on September 26 and has been organized by the founders who are Salerio Scheepers and Christopher Booysen, alongside their wives who are the co-founders; Tiffany Scheepers and Gazelle Booysen.
According to Booysen, the Lady in Pink team’s aim is to collect a thousand sanitary packs. “On September 26, we will be meeting at Viking, from there we will proceed with a convoy to Eldorado park.
“We were given this amazing opportunity through the Man above. We were also motivated by the fact that there a many of our young girls and woman who cannot afford these sanitary essentials. The sanitary packs will be distributed to Eldorado Park, Ennerdale, and Klipspruit,” said Booysen.

This is apparently not the team’s first event, their very first event took place on July 25 this year where they were blessed to provide food items to the Andries Meyer Old Age Home.
The team is still taking more donations from residents and their ideal sanitary pack will consists of: a face cloth, soap, body lotion, pack of sanitary towels, and roll-on.
The beneficiaries who are in need of these essential items are said to have been randomly selected in the communities by the team. “We would like the community to know that we as the Lady in Pink team are there to assist them in our communities in the best way be possible can.
Our community needs to remember to always wear your mask, wash our hands, abide by social distancing rules and keep safe,” concluded Booysen.
