“The day that he went missing, he got a chance to sneak out of the house because my mother was busy hanging up the laundry and the gate and door was open.

“My dad ran out so my mother and sister looked for him but could not find him because he was so quick. He always goes to his sister’s house knowing that she is no longer there. He kept going there so when he got there, his sisters daughter chased him away. They always called my mother or me when he went there but that day they did not, and then my dad went missing,” said Desmond.

The son added that when he found out about his father’s disappearance, he went looking for him. “We went to report a missing person’s report at the Police Station, we printed out posters and went to all the government mortuaries, hospitals, and shelters. We used all the information that we could get and up until today, we didn’t find him. I appreciate Soweto TV who interviewed my wife and mother on this matter,” he said.

According to Desmond, his father does not have any tattoos.

He has brown eyes, speaks isiZulu, Sesotho, isiXhosa, English, and Afrikaans.

Desmond also mentioned that his father has a bad memory, he was not diagnosed with anything but his father tends to forget things often.
