Police intensify search for Protea Glen triple murder killer(s)
Grandmother found murdered with two grandsons.
The police have been restless in searching for the killers of the 58-year-old woman who was found gruesomely murdered with two boys confirmed to have been her grandchildren in Protea Glen Extension 24.
The two boys were aged 9 and 14 at the time of their horrendous and untimely death; they were found lifeless with their grandmother at her house with the preliminary evidence suggesting that they were stabbed because all the three victims were found with gory stab holes on their upper bodies.
The Gauteng Commissioner for the Police, Lieutenant General Elias Mawela has ordered the urgent mobilization of maximum resources to ensure that the perpetrators are found and brought to book as a priority.

Captain Kay Makhubela who was speaking for the SAPS said, “No arrests have been made so far and this murder case has taken priority.
“We would like to appeal to the people from around the neighborhood where this heinous crime was committed to coming forth with any enlightening information about the case.”
