Man(21) shot dead at Diepkloof Hostel
The motive of the killing is still unknown at this stage.
A 21-year-old male was shot and killed at the Diepkloof Hostel.
It is alleged that the deceased left his home at around 23:00, without telling anyone where he was going and at around 04:00 the vehicle guard allegedly heard gunshots in the vicinity, and then hostel dwellers were also seen coming out to see what was happening.
The incident happened behind the Diepkloof hostel hall and the 21-year-old male was allegedly found lying in a pool of blood, shot twice in the abdomen.

According to Diepkloof SAPS spokesperson, Phephi Matlou-Mteto the deceased is the resident of the hostel and was identified by his family.
“The motive of the killing is still unknown at this stage, the Diepkloof SAPS is appealing to anyone with information to assist in contacting the station at this number 011933-7400, 011933-7411 or call 0860010111,” said Matlou-Mteto
