Break Dancers to battle it out online.

The Red Bull BC One is proclaimed the biggest and most prestigious one-on-one breaking competition in the world and aspiring dancers from Soweto and anywhere in the world have the chance to participate in the world finale which will also be hosted online.

Female and male breakdancers from all over the world can upload their videos break dancing to take part in the online battles adjudicated by a few of the most credible names in the break dancing industry.

One South African B-Boy who has made a name for himself on the dance floor Brandon Peterson also known as Man Like B said, “We have no idea when the next live or face to face battle would take place and we have been training and getting ready and fortunately another platform for us to showcase our hard-attained skills and experience gained while waiting for next battle has been made available.”

Man Like B continued to explain that even though he has actually done a few online battles, they’re not very easy and they come with their challenges.

He said, “The online battling scene comes with its difficulties, but it also comes with its benefits and conveniences too.”

This year, for the first time in the Red Bull BC One competition history, the two winners of the E-Battle, the B-Boy and the B-Girl who will win the title of Champion will be flown to the 2021 world final host country and guaranteed place in the next world final.

The application duration will be open from August 7 till August 31 and the top 64 breakdancers will be announced on September 7.
