#JusticeforTshego: Investigators given more time to arrest more suspects in Tshego’s case

Twenty-eight-year-old Tshego was eight months pregnant when she was stabbed and killed.

Those investigating the murder of Tshegofatso Pule have been allowed ample time to bring more suspects to justice following court proceedings on Thursday, 23 July.

Tshego’s murder accused Muzikayise Malephane, this time made a physical appearance in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court, still facing charges of premeditated murder.

The matter was postponed to 29 September, the reasons being that Prosecutor Musa Makhubele allowed more time for possible additional arrests; also, the states await DNA results and cellphone records as evidence, and for prospective witnesses to be identified to strengthen the case.

Background information:

Twenty-eight-year-old Tshego was eight months pregnant when she was stabbed and killed.

Her body was found hanging from a tree in Durban Deep, Roodepoort.

Malephane was arrested on his way back from Mpumalanga province, coincidentally hours after a gender-based violence protest in Roodepoort on 16 June.

This is a developing story.
