Pimville organisation gets a positive feedback

Pimville Zone 9 Community Development a group that started a soup kitchen from their own pockets to help feed the children in their community get positive feedback when they asked for donations last month.

Following an interview, they had with Urban news the group of 10 young ambitious individuals has been receiving donations from different people and companies.

Tankiso Moremi and Ndivhuwo Liphadzi said the article really yielded good results as they managed to get companies or organisations such as Rise Against Hunger, Epapa foundation, Ice cream from Siesta Ice cream company and YFM Khutso Tsheledi donated money to the organisation.

They alluded that they saw doors opening as Babalwa Thabizolo drove all the way from Pretoria to their area only to donate food and sanitary pads.

Liphadzi said they really appreciate each person that took it upon themselves to help feed the children and wished they built a long relationship with the organisation.

He added that their wish as a team is for the people to visit them to see the work they do.

“We want to send our warmest gratitude to our recent donors,” added Moremi

Moremi said they would like more people to help them with more donations so that they can extend their soup kitchen serving days as they are currently serving it only on Tuesdays and wish to do it for five days.

He further stated that they also request people to donate sanitary pads so that they can distribute to the girls in Zone 9.
