30 Under 40 Queer Game Changers puts a spotlight on LGBTIQ+ Community of the Southern African Development Community

The beautiful Queer story.

Once upon a time same-sex desiring was an unspoken norm and individuals flourished and excelled in talents for survival. As the years went by, humanity progressed to civilization. Sadly, the Queer story stopped because it had to rewrite history and to seek visibility in times when everyone was becoming better versions of themselves.

It is in the year 2020 when #30under40 humanized the Queer body. The 30 Under 40 SADC Queer Game Changers draws inspiration from the strides and efforts of the Queer community in advancing the region socially, economically, and politically.

The 30 Under 40 SADC Queer Game Changers is an annual list that will spotlight 30 exceptional LGBTIQ+ individuals under the age of 40 in the SADC region. It is through this initiative that we are able to address the twin task of humanizing the LGBTIQ+ community while we celebrate the excellence and talents of individuals towards the social, economic, and political advancement of the region and subsequently the continent.
