True Fam nominated for MKHMA new kwaito artist of the year category
True Fam is pleading for your vote to bring the award home.
Sika Maraizer hit makers commonly known by their stage name True Fam Entertainment from Pimville, Soweto are amongst the artists nominated in the 5th annual Mzansi Kwaito, House and Kwaito Awards (MKHMA) on the new kwaito artist of the year category.
True family consist of four aspiring artists namely Thompson ‘Thompson The Name’ Seabe, Sibusiso ‘Buda Da Element’ Solani, Bongani ‘Bongani M’ Manzini and Simphiwe ‘YV Sean’ Dladla.
What binds the duo together is their love and passion for music. Growing up they shared common goals, including love and passion for music.

Their love for music scored them a nomination on MKHMA and their flying the flag of Pims Town, with the help of the community they can bag the accolade.
Buda Da Element said that they want to set an exceptionally good example to young people from the community, so they can see that aiming high has nothing to do with where you are coming from.
YV Sean added that their plan is to form a record label that is originally from Soweto to help grow as a group and uplift other upcoming artists from the area.
