Four suspects arrested for possession of a stolen motor vehicle in Glenridge

The suspects were arrested for possession of stolen motor vehicle and they will appear this week in the Protea Magistrate's court.

Four suspects aged between 20 and 33 years old were arrested for possession of stolen motor vehicle on Sunday evening in Glenridge.

According to the Protea Glen communication officer Sergeant Vincent Mashiteng the police were patrolling the area when they spotted a vehicle fitting a description of a vehicle stolen in Naledi.

“The vehicle was a white Nissan Hardbody and had four men inside.

“The police stopped the vehicle and searched the suspects.

“They also checked the vehicle and found that it was positively stolen in Naledi.

The suspects failed to explain where they got the vehicle.

An investigation is underway to link the suspect with the case of theft of stolen motor vehicle.

The suspects were arrested for possession of stolen motor vehicle and they will appear this week at the Protea Magistrate’s court.
