Supporting a team as revered as Orlando Pirates Football Club does not turn one into a die-hard fan, but it is like becoming a part of a warm and supportive family.

Mokotedi spoke about the late Ndamande’s diligence in making sure that all the supporters of his favourite football club had membership cards so that they would reap all the benefits to be reaped by the clubs’ dedicated supporters.

Mokotedi said, “The late Ndamande was very dedicated to his cause, he was a sincerely supportive member of the Orlando Pirates FC and he was dedicated and active enough to have been part of all the branches in the Gauteng Structure, and he played a big role in reviving the other branches that were dying out and made to revive branches.”

The late Ndamande who was humble enough to be communicative with everyone also managed to invite former Orlando Pirates’ players and now legends like William Okpara, last year.

Mokotedi said, “The selfless Ndamande was even active in making sure that the other Pirates fans even got available vacancies in the Pirates structure and he played a big role in growing a few branches.”

The funeral procession of the hardcore fan proceeded respectfully and Mokotedi said, “The funeral was dignified and there were no technicalities, we say Rest in eternal Peace, friend.”
