“As an organisation, we have considered aspects of how we can aid our beneficiaries through online information sharing while they are at home. We have strategized on sharing links online for parents to access resources via our social media platforms for example; OLICO Maths education and Department of Education resources,” said Mthandazo Khumalo.

He added that this is because we believe that our beneficiaries have a right to still access education despite the recent milieu.

“In this new era of digitization, we believe it is also valuable to share information across a vast plethora of online education spaces,” said Khumalo.

However, as an organisation, they have structured online platforms whereby PYMA tutors aid all their Grade 12 learners in specific subjects through information sharing, sharing questions papers on the PYMA Whatsapp group.

They believe that all the Grade 12s will be helped through this platform so that they can keep pace with their school work and excel well by of the year 2020. They will also continue sharing online information on how to keep safe and maintain good hygiene practices, especially during this dire strait.

“We hope to keep our learners motivated until everything returns to normal,” said Khumalo.
