Patients and a doctor robbed at a surgery in Meadowlands Zone 1
Meadowlands Saps launch a manhunt following a robbery at a surgery in Meadowlands.
Police are looking for a male suspect following an alleged armed robbery at the surgery in Meadowlands, Vincent Road Zone 1 on Monday morning, the armed suspect allegedly robbed the doctor and patients’ of their cell phones, money, and office equipment.
According to the police statement, the doctor was inside the consultation room with a patient when the male suspect entered the room and pointed them with a firearm.
He searched them and took their cell phones and he demanded the car keys before he pushed them to the other room where other patients were laid down on the floor.

On his way out, the suspect allegedly took the printer, computer, plasma TV and took off in a white Audi A3 that was later recovered by the tracker at the open space in Zone 6.
Meadowlands Saps spokesperson Sargent Octavia Thebe said the police are investigating a case of armed robbery, no arrests have been made.
