Cllr Paulos Mazibu and the community fixing potholes in Diepkloof

Away with pothole.

Potholes have irked the people of Diepkloof so much that they had to come together and make sure that the potholes in their streets are gotten rid off, especially the people from Ward 26 in Diepkloof Zone Six.

The councillor for Ward 26 in Diepkloof, Cllr Paulos Mazibu and the community from the area took their time out of their active schedules and went to declare a war against the potholes in their community because, honestly potholes don’t only damage people’s cars, they also take away the dignity of a community and any street.

Cllr Mazibu said, “I am so excited because this simply shows and means that the municipality is taking the people more seriously now, we appreciate their efforts in making sure that our people prosper and live in decent environments.”

The councillor even expressed appreciation for the Mayor of The City of Johannesburg Jeff Makhubo for heeding the people’s cries; he said that it was great to see most of the departments of the City of Johannesburg (CoJ) in Diepkloof Zone Six making sure the people’s dignities and their communities are worth living and their roads are in good condition.
