Meadowlands SAPS is investigating a case of murder after one suspect allegedly killed another suspect during an alleged robbery at Meadowlands Zone 1 last night.
According to the police statement, Sizwe Mbikwane from Zone 2 Meadowlands was from church on his way home when he was approached by the two suspects, with one pointing him with a firearm.
“When Mbikwane tried to defend himself, a shot went off and went through Mbikwane’s left hand and hit the second suspect.

The unidentified deceased had a single gunshot wound on the chest under the left breast.
The police are looking for the family of the deceased.
Sergeant Octavia Thebe said the police recovered a 9mm cartridge at the scene; no arrests have been made yet.
