House robbery at Guinea Fowl Street Riverlea ext 3

The Langlaagte SAPS appeals to the community to please join hands with the Langlaagte SAPS in the fight against crime.

A house robbery took place at Guinea Fowl Street, in Riverlea ext 3 between the time of 9 pm and 3.30 am when the complainant was sleeping in her bedroom.

She was woken up by two males who were inside her room and ordered her to cover her head with the blanket, while they were searching in her room.

The suspects were armed with one firearm and a knife. The complainant was tied up with shoelaces and the complainant’s son was tied with a wire.

While the complainant and her son’s faces were covered, the suspects continued to take the following items from the house: flat-screen TVs, cell phones, amplifiers and cash from the complainant’s bag.

No arrest has been made at this stage.
