Fans disappointed after Naledi Juventus suffered a 1-0 narrow defeat playing host to Mike stars F.C in the Soweto Premier league fixture at Club Colombia.
Mike stars opened the score line when they pressured Juventus in the first half attack after their numerous attempts; Nkosana Ngamlana scored the only goal of the match which saw the side walk home with 3 points.
Although the game started an hour late, Juventus started with one knee down as they were forced to field 9 players because some players were not in position of their 2020 league cards.

Naledi Juventus chairman Pathious ‘Passmo’ Letswalo pinned the matter to SAFA office’s failure to provide cards timeously, he explained that they were informed that players’ cards will be used for the game.
“They said we will get them last week Friday only to be told that the person responsible for making them hasn’t been to the office for the whole week,” said Letswalo.
Mike stars F.C coach Mike said the there was no way he could let the home team play without the league cards as he considers Juventus to be a very dangerous team based on previous encounters.
“We know when we play against Naledi Juventus is always a tough game is not easy to take 3 points. And because they were one player short we decided to sit back , normally we know that a team in short of players is usually dangerous because everybody is working in the game,” said Mike.
