The information was true as the police found an adult male aged 42 years old busy packing zip-lock plastics with a common substance suspected to be a drug which is commonly known as Kat.

He was arrested and detained at Jabulani Police station upon counting the zip locks as they were 34 packets of those and cash that was handed in as an exhibit.

“We appreciate the support our community gives to us to curb crime that destroys plenty of residents more especially vulnerable young and innocent ones.

“Crime is one of the biggest issues in our communities and it is escalating. One other issue is to urge the community not to take the law in their hands because it is also a charge to murder suspected perpetrators.

“Residents of the community should continue blowing the whistle against those that belong behind bars.

“We urge anyone with information that would lead to whereabouts of the suspect to contact us on 0716756566/0115277000,” said Captain Sifiso Mabizela.
