PGS Matriculant bagged 5 distinctions

Phindile Rakgoale bagged 5 distinctions in Sesotho Home Language, Mathematical literacy, Business studies, History, Tourism and Life orientation.

The class of 2019 top achiever of Protea Glen Secondary School Phindile Rakgoale bagged 5 distinctions. This was however not a surprise to her since she has been academically doing well in the year 2019.

Rakgoale topped her fellow learners during her trials when she was announced as a top achiever with 6 distinctions.

The performance during the trials made her work harder for her final examinations. “I always knew that God will perform miracles through me, hence I managed to score 5 distinctions for my finals”, she said.

Rakgoale got a distinction Phindile Rakgoale…her sudden achievement made her trend in the school premises and the community at large.

The 18-year-old girl has become a motivation to her peers. “I am very grateful for the morning and afternoon sessions that the school offered, it was not in vain, our hard work has finally paid off”, she said.



Rakgoale is thankful for the support her family has given her throughout the year, “I am who I am today because of my family, they have contributed towards my success and I am very grateful”, she added.

The young girl wishes to put her education on hold and follow her calling of being a traditional healer, having achieved all that, she wishes to then pursue a career in Entrepreneurship.
