24 years later Gumba Faya still in the game
Gumba Faya is confident that his new single titled Kasilami that is produced by Squire Arnold Nododile will be played on the radio soon and he hopes that people will enjoy what he has to offer them.
Once a kwaito musician always a legend Mandla ‘Gumba Faya’ Masilela is still doing what he loves and is adapting to the new age kwaito as he is set to release a new single.
Gumba Faya is confident that his new single titled Kasilami that is produced by Squire Arnold Nododile will be played on the radio soon and he hopes that people will enjoy what he has to offer them.
Although their type of kwaito was different from the new kwaito Masilela is willing to keep his fans and music lovers entertained.
24 years later he is keen to continue growing his music career and releasing more music.

Masilela was born and breed in Soweto in the location of Mndeni. He was part of a group that was known as Abo small with the likes of Msai, Sbusiso, Mzambiya, Thulane, and Thozamile.
After they parted ways as the group and he went solo where he was fortunate enough to work with other kwaito legends namely rev Tumza, Dj Mega, Bravo and many more.
His music goes way back to the days where you used to listen to songs like Sgelekeqe by the late Mandoza, Magqoki’sgqoko by Mshoza, Madluzu muntu by Ntsekeleke and many more.
