The Establishment manager almost shot during an armed robbery

The manager-managed to get away unharmed when the car that was being driven by the unknown criminals crashed somewhere and they made their way for it.

A case of attempted murder was launched at the Diepkloof SAPS after one manager from the Establishment was almost shot during a robbery.

The Communications Officer for Diepkloof SAPS, Captain Phephi Matlou-Mteto explained that according to the manager’s report, he was making his way to his car after a long night with his laptop in its bag, shortly after he got in the car; unknown people started pursuing him and releasing fire shots as he fled.

Matlou-Mteto said, “The poor manager slightly escaped death without even being touched by the gunshots that went to his car flooding in an attempt to rob him.”

The manager-managed to get away unharmed when the car that was being driven by the unknown criminals crashed somewhere and they made their way for it.

Matlou-Mteto said that nothing was reported to have been taken during the attempted robbery attempt; she explained that the manager was able to escape and call security to come for his aid.

The attempted murder case has been opened nonetheless because one bullet could have been the end of the victim, the police are searching for these criminals who probably thought that the laptop bag had cash, according to the spokesperson.

The incident took place around 3 am during the weekend of October 26, the police have asked for the people who may have seen anything or even seen the criminals who attempted to please report hem before their trigger happy fingers claim innocent life.
