A body of a woman was discovered in the Klipspruit River
A case of murder has been opened and the police are investigating it.
A body of a woman was discovered in the Klipspruit River opposite to Klipspruit ext 2 along (Killer Road) or Klipspruit road in Soweto.
According to the Moroka Police Spokesperson It is suspected that the woman was assaulted and blindfolded with a cloth on her face. It is believed that her body has been thrown into the river.
“The woman was wearing khaki trousers and a white top.

“We believe that the woman is below the age of 35.
“We appeal to any person or family that has someone who went missing to go to the Diepkloof government mortuary to identify the body. Or they can come to Moroka police station.”
