Family dejected by the disapperance of their 20-year-old daughter

Where are you child?

Imagine watching the news on TV and the story of another girl missing comes up while your 20-year-old mildly mentally challenged daughter’s whereabouts are unknown to you as a parent and guardian.

Hlovani Mahlaule attended at a special school because she had mild mental challenges, and ever since her family has known her, she has not been one to go out with friends for long nights and not returning nor reporting at home, so her disappearance has left her family suspecting all kinds of things and obviously angsty.

Mikateko Mahlaule who went to report her missing at Diepkloof SAPS explained that it is not ideal for the 20-year-old child to be away from home for so long.

She said that the last time she saw Hlovani was on October 3 and she was wearing  a short black and white dress with a pink Soviet cap matching her Pink Soviet Sneakers.

Mikateko said, “We have already opened a missing person’s case at the local police station out of desperation; she was last seen around zone 2 in Diepkloof her neighbourhood.”

The spokesperson for Diepkloof SAPS, Captain Phephi Matlou-Mteto confirmed that the missing person’s case has been opened at the station and that they are doing what they can to find the young female.

She said: “We appeal to the people everywhere to work hand in hand with the police to cease #femicide and the trafficking of human beings, especially vulnerable young girls by reporting any suspicious incidents involving scared and confused young girls.”

Any person who might know or maybe have seen a girl like the girl described above, anywhere, can call the police or Mikateko at 078 868 3331, 079 734 7904 and Innocentia at 072 548 7634 swiftly.

Let us stand against #GBV #Femicide #HumanTraficking and evil because standing by to watch evil occur is as partaking in it.
