Naledi Saps arrested a 42-year-old man following the murder of a 31-year-old man which occurred at Emndeni, Soweto.
According to the police statement, the pair were sitting in a house along Zamakulungisa Street when a fight broke out between them which led to the suspect stabbing the victim.
The victim sustained stabbed wound on the upper body.
He was declared dead on the scene by the paramedics

This arrest comes after the police arrested four suspects on a separate case of murder which occurred two weeks ago in Naledi.
The station commander of Naledi Saps Colonel Mbanyele welcomes the arrests and he commended the police for the good work.
“We urge the community to come forward and report all criminal activities happening in and around our area,” Mbanyele added.
