“I didn’t have money to register to the Sparrow FET College but PAPU offered to pay for me. I went there for the training and did two courses there, I started with Automotive Repair and Maintenance for six months at the college, and then the other six months I was placed at VW in town to gain the practical side.

“I returned to the College to do another course for tyre repairing which required me to be at the College for three months and work for the other three months. I will be graduating in this month with the certificates of both courses,” explained Mavuso.

The beneficiary is currently pregnant and at home but mentioned that a job will be waiting for her after she has delivered her baby. Mavuso concluded by saying that the organisation has been a blessing to her.

If you are interested in any of the courses that PAPU is offering or sponsoring the organisation you can contact PAPU on 011 477 0706 or you can visit them at the Masters Field Hall in Dowling Avenue in Westbury.
