Two arrested near the Langlaagte Train Station for dealing in dagga

Langlaagte saps clamps down on drugs in the community.

Communications officer, Constable PhumI Kraai from the Langlaagte police station released the following statement: ‘Two male suspects aged 25 and 40 years old were arrested near the Langlaagte Train Station for dealing in dagga.

The Langlaagte Crime Prevention members saw a group of school kids surrounding one of the males, the officers then stopped to investigate as to what was going on. They then discovered that this male has been selling dagga to the school children.

He was then arrested and then disclosed details of his supplier who was also then arrested for dealing in dagga. The street value of the dagga that was found on the suspect is worth around R2000.

The suspects have been detained at Langlaagte police station and will be appearing in court soon.

The Langlaagte police management would like to recommend these members for making sure that our school kids go to school drug free. Langlaagte police is committed to making sure that our schools are safe and drug free.’
