Naledi footballer ‘Gattuso’ still on his come up
The Naledi Juventus midfielder said his dream is to compete in big leagues like the Premier Soccer League (PSL).
Named after the retired Italian footballer Gennaro ‘Gattuso’ Ivan, Katleho Motsiri better known in the field of play as Guttuso is determined to push his career passion as a soccer player.
Guttuso has since won Safa Leagues three times and got knockout in the semi-final at the Nike Tournament against Sundowns. The Naledi Juventus defensive Midfielder walked home with the player of the tournament title in most of the tournaments he played in.
The 19-year-old young star is currently playing for Naledi Juventus U 17 division competing in South Western Zone (LFA). He began to take sports serious when he went for trials at Palacious Academ back in 2013.

“I chose to take part in sports because I am passionate about more so soccer I can say I am inspired by football on Its own because I love playing football it takes you away from doing improper things,” said Gattuso.
The Naledi Juventus midfielder said his dream is to compete in big leagues like the Premier Soccer League (PSL), he is recently in school and juggling his passion for the game.
“For me, its school first before everything but sometimes it’s hard because I come back home late from school sometimes and the fact I use the train for transport it doesn’t make it any easier,” said Gattuso.
The Naledi born soccer player said although he feels like he is not getting full support from home he tries to keep the focus on the goal, he went on to express his gratitude for his current club.
“I have set goals for myself and keep myself motivated I always think of where I want to be instead of focusing on my current situation and that is what keeps me going”, the young footballer continued.
“I am happy with Naledi Juventus, the management treat us fair and equal no one is bigger than the team in that case I am very happy and I know that my team trust me to carry the brand of the club,” said Gattuso.
