Soweto Santos give PMSC a beating!

Soweto Santos scored 15 goals in the second half while PMSC only scored three.

Protea Multi-purpose Sports Club (PMSC) were thrashed on their home ground by visitors, Soweto Santos last Sunday at the Protea Glen Sports Complex in phase one.

Soweto Santos scored 15 goals in the second half while PMSC only scored three. This left the final score at 28 for Soweto Santos and 9 for PMSC. “We didn’t expect to lose this game, we are used to playing with this team and we always win so this was a bit of a shock for us,” said PMSC coach Yamkela Fuyizilo.

Mbali Nkosi, one of the Soweto Santos players, was equally shocked about the win but felt they deserved it because of the preparations the team made for the game.

“The game was great for us because we won, we didn’t really expect it but we trained for this so it’s the result of our hard work,” she concluded.
