A 29-year-old woman and her two children between the age of one and three, died in a fire at their house in Rockville on July 25 Thursday.
According to the Spokesperson of Johannesburg Emergency Management Service Robert Mulaudzi they succumbed to smoke inhalation while inside the house and were confirmed dead on scene at 04:00am.
The cause of the fire incident is still a subject of investigations.
“We would like to urge all our residents throughout the City of Johannesburg to continue to look after all heating devices which might cause fires at the home not to leave them unattended so that we can be able to prevent fire incidents like this one,” said Mulaudzi.
