Two arrested for being in possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition
The suspects were searched by the dedicated officers who were on patrol around that area.
Communications officer, Constable Phumi Kraai from the Langlaagte police station released the following report:
On Friday, July 19, the Langlaagte crime prevention members managed to remove one unlicenced firearm from the streets of Mayfair, Albertina Sisulu Road.
Two male suspects between the ages of 49 years old and 50 years old have been arrested for being in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition after being stopped and searched by the dedicated officers who were on patrol around that area.
