Bawenzile creche gives back to the seniors this Mandela Day
The creche teachers and principal served two delicious pots of soup this morning to the seniors of the retirement village.
Bawenzile creche visited the Retirement Village in Riverlea this morning to serve their 67 minutes for Mandela Day.
Zelma Perreira who is the principal of the school said that their creche decided to adopt the retirement village so that they can keep on giving back to the elderly of the community.
The creche along with the parents of the learners contributed towards food parcels for the elderly which they distributed to all the units along with a loaf of bread.
The creche teachers and principal served two delicious pots of soup this morning to the seniors of the retirement village. Perreira allowed her little ones to sing for the seniors and to distribute the bread to them.
