The Lucas Radebe Tournament for the schools took place at the Bhareng Sports Ground and after all the passion improvement shown in the field, Lucas Radebe was pleased to crown Fons Luminis Secondary School as the new champions for the soccer tournament and Diepdale Secondary School as the victors for Netball.

It may have been cold in Diepkloof this past Saturday, but the sports lovers went out in numbers to support their favourite upcoming soccer and netball stars like, Dimpho Thobejane, whom, after the entire Lucas Radebe Tournament was awarded the best shooter of the tournament.

After the tournament, the legendary Lucas Radebe acknowledged the sponsorship by Adidas, Coka Cola and the Gift of the Givers; he noted the individuals who came out tops and said, “It is good to see the tournament growing. The competition is growing tighter and tighter each year.”
