Two men wanted by the Diepkloof police for alleged attempted murder

The man survived the ordeal and has recovered at the hospital while the two men who opened fire for no known reason are sought by the police.

The Police in Diepkloof SAPS have launched yet another man hunt for the two men who have shot another man 14 times in Motsoaledi at the RDP Houses Section.

The case for attempted murder has been opened at the station and the Spokesperson for Diepkloof SAPS, Captain Phephi Matlou-Mteto explained that the case was opened after it was alleged that while the two men were having a time of leisure in one of the houses in Motsoaledi with two other women, two armed men barged in and started opening fire.

Matlou-Mteto said, “Twelve cartridges were found at the scene after the one man was shot out of the company of four people survived the 13 shots in the legs and the one that went in his back.”

The man survived the ordeal and has recovered at the hospital while the two men who opened fire for no known reason are sought by the police.

Matlou-Mteto said, “The case is being investigated and the motive for the attempted murder is unknown, but we are certainly going to get to the bottom of it and would not relax before the two armed perpetrators are brought in.

“None of the witnesses have been able to come forward with the information in the case about who the two gun men were and neither has the victim, however, the spokesperson for Diepkloof SAPS, Matlou-Mteto said, “At this point we are suspecting that this shooting must have rooted from love jealousy or something, and the shooters just wanted to scare the victim away from someones’ woman, but we cannot speculate more since the case is under investigation.”
