Simphiwe Mdluli from Diepkloof out to expose the scourge of drugs

"You cannot dwell on your mistakes as a human being, because you can always come back from an addiction and help save the others" - Simphiwe Mdluli.

Getting caught up in the dark life of alcohol and drug abuse can make one feel like they’re trapped for life, but Simphiwe Mdluli from Diepkloof, who has broken free from that life wants the youth to know that there is life after addiction.

Mdluli said, “You cannot dwell on your mistakes as a human being, because you can always come back from an addiction and help save the others as well by teaching them about the consequences of that life.”

Mdluli spoke about how she has figured out that since she was favoured enough to survive the scourge of drugs she is the key that will kill drug addiction and drug abuse starting in her community.

Mdluli who is so charismatic and fluent figure explained that she used to be a television presenter for Soweto TV and that she used to be an outgoing rapper who got bookings for being an emcee at events before she lost her way because of the wrong friends who introduced her to drugs and alcohol and a lifestyle of being unfocused.
