Eldo’s Pastor Ashley Sauls started preaching at the age of 14
Eldos' very own prayer warrior.
Pastor Ashley Sauls, who many know in the Greater Eldorado Park community as ‘The Bible Coach’ was born in Kliptown and has always been very passionate about the community.
Sauls is the pastor at Ignite Family Church and is also a Youth Development Specialist, a Social Justice Activist as well as an Entrepreneur.
“I have been in ministry for 21 years, I started preaching at the age of 14,” said Sauls.
The Bible Coach recently embarked on a journey of fasting and prayer for the Eldorado Park community.
“What made me embark on this journey was my love for this community, I have a heart for this community. I desperately want my community to be better and that is the main reason why I fasted and prayed for seven days.

“Last year, God instructed me to call Eldorado Park to a sacred assembly called the MEGA rally, where matriculants and residents came together to pray for our community to be great again,” said Sauls.
During the seven-day-fast, Sauls walked through the streets of the Greater Eldorado Park praying as he walked.
“The route I walked every day was along the Main Road from Klipspuit West to Freedom Park.
Then from Union Road to Bushkoppies. The route was carefully planned out, every day as I was walking, I was forming a cross,” he added.
Sauls also said that he appreciated the support from the community.
“They saw me walking and praying and many thanked me for my prayers. At one stage there was a man who kneeled and received my prayers. Another man, I remember was playing loud music but when he saw me he turned it down as a sign of respect and he too received my blessings and prayers,” said Sauls.
When asked what he would like to change in the community, his response was: “I would like to see all organisations and stakeholders contributing to making Eldos great again.
I would like to see all businesses prosper and all sports facilities functioning properly. I want to see our health services functioning properly. I dream of seeing new skyscraper buildings being built in Eldos, I dream of Eldos being better and greater.”
