Mothers showered with love and gifts

Ammish Community Development hosted Mother’s Day celebration. The celebration was held at Youth Centre in Central Western Jabavu.

The Mother’s Day event was aimed at showering the elderly with love and show them appreciation. Ammish Community Development dedicated June 1 to Mother’s Day.

The elderly people and mothers were entertained with poetry, word of God, and singing and dancing. They were also showered with gifts as a token of appreciation.

Founder of Ammish Community Development Maschaba Mlotshwa said this day is very special. “I wanted to celebrate it with our mothers because we love and appreciate them.

“Thank you so much to each and every individual who made this celebration successful without your support, love, and dedication this event wouldn’t be successful.”

One of the grannies said, “I can’t explain how happy I am and I enjoyed all the activities that were prepared for us.”
