Nomsa Mbuyisa’s life was cut short by her ex-lover last year on May 30 2018. Emotions were high as people gathered at Machaba & Ellias Motsoaledi Road in Mofolo.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jozi FM Mpho Mhlongo, organised a memorial to honour and remember the spirit of the late Mbuyisa. Flowers were put on spot where the late Mbuyisa was killed.
Mbuyisa was brutally murdered by her ex-lover.
Mhlongo said today we gathered here to remember all those who were brutally murdered by their lover or ex-lover.
The eldest son of the deceased Mthunzi Mbuyisa explained the incident where his mother lost her life.

“My message is that men should stop abusing women because women need to be loved and protected. We are grateful for the support that we get from the community.”
Lindiwe Mazibuko said this day reminds us of how we lost our sister. It is painful for the children especially Mthunzi because he was there when his mother died.
“We are grateful for the support that we get.”
