A women’s fellowship with the aim of restoring lives

Reaching out to the community.

A women’s fellowship was held at the Victory Outreach recovery home in Eldorado Park Extension Two, on Saturday, May 18, with the aim of healing, praying and encouraging women in the community.

Guest speakers shared their personal testimonies in hopes to inspire and encourage other women never to give up. Madanieya Nehata, who is the head of the local recovery home said that she was overjoyed with the turnout.

Sumaya Hassim shared her personal testimony.

“We planned to keep it intimate, eight women at the most, but over 30 women came out today. Seeing how eager and hungry they were for a change reminded me of how far I have come,” said Nehata.

The recovery home provides a residential, Christian environment for men and women.

The purpose of the home is to reclaim, redeem, and restore lives that have been destroyed or disrupted by substance abuse by establishing three essential values; a commitment to Christ, restoration of the family and a positive work ethic.
